23 Weeks Pregnant and Something isn't right

Fast forward 5 weeks to 23 weeks pregnant. I was healing up great. My arm was finally out of a sling. We purchased a new mattress in hopes that it would help alleviate some of my lower back pain from the accident. Life was just getting back to normal. My boyfriend and I were looking for a new house to get out of a horrible land lord situation and an abundance of black mold coupled with constant harassment. My school semester was winding down so things were getting stressful. I had lots of large assignments to complete as well as exams to study for. I was still catching up from the week or so I took out of school after the accident. Walking on campus was still a bit terrifying to me. Cars kept whizzing by at high speeds and most of the time they don't even stop for the pedestrian crossing lights. I tried to cross where the lights are because I felt a little safer after being struck in a four way intersection with no lights. I didn't trust a driver to tell me it was okay to cr

Tragedy Strikes!

So I'm playing catch up as this occurred quite some time ago. February 23, 2018: I left work to head to my lunch time college courses at an anonymous campus. It was yucky outside. Foggy and wet and cold. Of course I had to park a good quarter mile away from the building because there is never parking available even when you pay good money for a parking pass...and what campus has expectant mother parking? Wishful thinking haha! I make the long walk to class in the cold and I'm walking as fast as my then 17 week pregnant body could move without wanting to pee my pants. Next thing I know I'm flipped upside down (LITERALLY) and I slam down on the pavement on my back. I watch my Yetti coffee mug roll down a rain gutter and my notebook full of assignments flies out of my hand and papers are instantly soaked on the damp pavement. It feels as though my arm has been ripped off so I reach over to make sure its still there. My ears are ringing and I clearly had lost my breath.

IT'S A BOY!!!

We finally found out the gender of our little bundle of joy and we couldn't be more excited. Check out these adorable Rockers!!!
